Protobox is built and operated by Elemente, Corp — the company behind Chanl. It runs the same MCP runtime we run in production for Chanl, our customers and ourselves.
Why we built it
We didn't set out to sell an MCP server. We were shipping AI everywhere — Chanl's agents taking calls and chats, projects for our customers, Elemente's own operations — and the hardest part was never the AI. It was the tools. Every assistant needed to check a calendar, update a CRM, search the docs, and every connection meant hand-built auth, schemas, retries and logs. When MCP came along, we built a product that spins up an MCP server for each project — Chanl, each customer, our own team — instead of wiring every one by hand. It worked so well we made it public. That's Protobox.
What we believe
MCP is going to be the default integration surface for AI clients. The servers behind it should be boring, fast, and observable — not a weekend research project. Open runtime, paid hosting, no vendor lock-in.
